All prices of the items sold through our website include VAT.

The Mauritshuis online shop does its utmost best to mention the right price of articles in the webshop. The price in the shopping cart is leading, even if it differs from the price indication on other pages in the webshop. All prices are subject to pressure and typing errors. The Mauritshuis online shop uses the order date as the purchase date on your credit card.

iDEAL

With iDEAL you can settle your online purchases safely, easily and securely. iDEAL is the system that links you directly to your online banking program when making an online purchase. To use iDEAL you do not have to register, download files or create an account. If you use internet banking at ABN AMRO, bunq, ING, Knab, Rabobank, de Volksbank (SNS, ASN Bank and Regional Bank), Triodos Bank or Van Lanschot Bankiers, you can pay directly with iDEAL. You quickly and easily pay in the familiar internet payment environment of your own bank. Paying as you are used to.

How does iDEAL work?

1. In the checkout choose iDEAL as the payment method and click on "Buy"
2. Select your online bank. 
3. You will be redirected to the online banking site of your bank
4. The relevant details of your purchase have already been completed
5. Approve the payment
6. You will receive a confirmation from your bank
7. You will be redirected to the webshop or click on the dedicated link
8. Order and payment have been successfully completed

Credit card

Pay with your VISA / Eurocard / MasterCard via a secure Internet connection (SSL):

First check carefully that all displayed data is correct. Then enter the card number and the expiration date of your credit card.

After you click on SEND the payment will be processed. The result is shown on the screen. If the payment is approved by the credit card company, your order will be processed immediately.

There are no additional charges for credit card payments.

Refund

Money is always refunded via the payment method that was used online. If you have paid by credit card, you will see the amount refunded on the next creditcard invoice. If you paid with iDEAL, the money will be refunded to your bank account. We do not return cash.
